Margaret was born in 1842 in Kilkenny, Ireland. She was the daughter of John Judge and Bridget McNulty. In the early 1860's she married Thomas Joseph Gerrard. They had 4 children. They lived in the Manchester area of Lancashire, England throughout their lives. It was here she passed away in 1882. She is buried in the Philips Park Cemetery in Manchester.
