Desire was born on 2 May 1828 and baptized a few years later in St Martinville, Louisiana. He is the son of Alexandre Judice and Susanne Dugas. [1]
He married Elise Labauve, the daughter of Victor Labauve and Marie Arthemise Dugas, on 7 Feb 1853 in St Martinville, Louisiana. [2]
