In the 1880 United States Federal Census Samuel Julian 58 born about 1822 in England (Father's Birthplace: England Mother's Birthplace: England), tailor, was head of his household in Washington Street, American Fork, Utah, Utah, USA. Other Household Members were his wife Caroline Julian 48 1832 England, and their children: William Julian 24 1856 England; Mary A. Julian 18 1862 Utah; John W. Julian 16 1864 Utah; William H. Julian 14 1866 Utah; Eliza A. Julian 10 1870 Utah; James Julian 7 1873 Utah; Julia Julian 5 1875 Utah. Also in residence was Mary Anna Julian 20 born about 1860 in Utah Territory, domestic servant, was his niece (her parents were also from England. [1]
