Jochum is believd to have come from Norrköping, Sweden.

Jochum was a tolagsskrivare, a tollman, and a merchant. He is also believed to have been a Danish castle warden at Visborg castle from 1676 to 1679, but no reliable sources for that information Hve been found.
Jochum Junge owned the property marked as 161 on a map from 1697.[3] He was therefor neighbors with Jörgen Smitterlou who owned no 102.[4] The modern adress is Klosterbrunnsgatan 5. Jörgen's great granddaughter, Margareta Printz, married Jochum's great grandson Carl Westberg in 1789.
