Biography

Kate was born on 30 October 1868 in Petworth, Sussex. She is the daughter of James Jupp and Charlotte Peters. Kate was christened on 13 December 1868.

On 30 August 1887, Kate married John Attwater in Petworth, and according to the 1911 census, they became the parents of 10 children (9 of whom survived at 1911). For many years, the family lived in the Preston Park area of Brighton, Sussex.

Kate was widowed in 1928 and she passed away in Brighton in 1953 at about age 85.
