Biography

Lena was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States about 1881. She married Herman Kalthoff in Ohio in July of 1885 [1]

She and Herman are on the 1900 Fed Census in Chicago with 3 children Herman, Lucy and Lena.[2]

The three children are still at home on the 1910 Fed Census and the family is still in Chicago.[3]

Lena died in Chicago, Illinois in 1916, her husband Herman was the informant.[4]

The obituary from the Chigago Tribune on her Find A Grave record states that she had a brother George Jutting.[5][6]

Notes

This person may be the younger sister of Gerhard(George) Jutting. They immigrated the same year and if I found the correct ship records they were on the same ship.[7][8]
