Hi 2 Week Member! How are things going? Any questions? I have a couple of tips that will make things easier for you in the long run. The farther back in your tree, the more likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile. We also have a naming standard here, see: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Name_Fields If you do have someone where a last name at birth is not known, the information should be noted in the related profiles until you have a last name.

Add an estimated date and place of birth, at the very least, a country (no abbreviations), for each person. This helps in searches. Last but not least, make sure you source each profile as you go. This will save you time later. Let me know if I can help. Nae

Hello, I'm hoping to research some of my ancestry from Ireland, Germany and other countries. I also am happy to share some records that I have from my paternal and maternal families. I have a very basic knowledge of Irish Gaelic (read, write speak).
