Biography
Hermann Kahn, was born in Simmershausen, in 1820 and given the Hebrew name, Naphtholi and the Yiddish name Hirsch. He later took the secular German name of Hermann. He lived at Simmershausen where he was a cattle dealer. He passed away in 1895.
