Biography

John was born in 1700. He is the son of John Kaighn and Sarah Dole.

John Kaighn, yeoman, of Newton, Gloucester County wrote his will 30 April 1749 naming wife Abigail his executrix with his "brother-in-law Joseph Hinchman." Witnesses were Caleb Sprague, Robert Stephens, Joseph Cooper. Will was proved 14 June 1749.^[1]
