John Kaighn, yeoman, of Newton, Gloucester County wrote his will 30 April 1749 naming wife Abigail his executrix with his "brother-in-law Joseph Hinchman." Witnesses were Caleb Sprague, Robert Stephens, Joseph Cooper. Will was proved 14 June 1749.[1]
