Biography

Peter was born in 1794. He was the son of Peter Kaiser and Margaret Dellabaugh. He passed away in 1862.

During the War of 1812, Peter Kizer/Kuyser served as a private in the 1st York Militia. From Nov. 25, 1812 to Mar. 24, 1813, he served in Captain John Willson’s Company. [1]

From Mar. 25 to Apr. 24, 1813, he was on duty at the island telegraph (at York) from Capt. Willson’s Co. [2]

From June 28 to July 16, 1813, he served in Major Samuel Wilmot’s Detachment. [3]

From Dec. 25, 1813 to Jan. 24, 1814, he served at York in Capt. Reuben Richardson’s Co. [4]

From July 8 to 27, 1814, he served in Capt. Richardson’s Company. [5]

From Aug. 25 to Sept. 22, 1814, he served in Capt. Thomas Selby’s Co. [6]

On June 29, 1850, Peter "Ellin" Kaiser made a land petition to purchase Lot 12, Con. 3, Uxbridge that had been purchased by Henry Simpson in 1837 but had not been completely paid. Peter owned an adjacent lot. [7]
