Christina Margretha was born in 1774, the daughter of Christian Kaiser and Christina Margareta Gohl. In the 1850 U.S. Federal Census, she was aged 76, using the Sholder surname and living with Christian’s family. She was not listed in the 1860 Census. Therefore, she probably died between 1850 and 1860 in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
Christina Margretha first married, at age 20, Johann Jacob Scholderer, age 30, son of Johann Karl Scholderer and Juliana Sophia Gsell, on Tuesday, 27 January 1795 at Degerloch, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.
After his death in 1812, Christina Margretha married a second time, at age 42, Johann Jacob Sigmund, age 40 on Tuesday, 17 June 1817 at Degerloch, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.
Christina Margretha and her second husband Johann Jacob Sigmund emigrated in 1831 to North America with her son Christian August Scholderer and his bride Anna Margaretha Lutscher. They went to find Johann Sigmund's son from his first wife, Samuel Friedrich somewhere in North America, presumably in Pennsylvania since that is where they settled.
