A SURPRISE AT PIERMONT.
Miss Maggie Kane Visited by Many Friends. A goodly number of boys and girls of Piermont gave a surprise party for Tuesday night in honor of Miss Maggie Kane, They met an the home of Miss Maggie Murphy, and from there went to Mr. William Currie's home, where Miss Kane was stopping, Mrs. Currie being her aunt. The party had a very enjoyable time. Music was furnished by violin and piano, games were played and the hours were happily spent until 10 o'clock, when the children went home. The older persons present remained and enjoyed themseIves until one o'clock in the morning. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs Louis Knieriem.
