Biography
George was born in 1887 in Mullaghdoo, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the son of George Kane and Jenny Wilson. His birth was registered by Mary Wilson of Mullaghadoo.[1]
In 1910 he married Jennie Niblock in Sinclair Seaman's Presbyterian Church, Belfast. He was a seaman from Islandmagee and she was a 20 year old living in Belfast. The witnesses were William George Russell and Annie Niblock.[2]
