In 1900, Frank and Agnes lived in Ward 7, Cincinnati, Ohio, and he supported the family by working as a grocer. Children living with them were Frank, Katie, Lizzie, Harry, Edward, William, Leo, and Bernard.
The father of Franz Jozef Wilhelm Kappelhof was named as Harmannus Kappelhof in the Douwes-family research. I am not sure of this line, there are other possibilities for the Kappelhof lineage linked to Doris Day.
