Edvard was born in 1864. He was the illegitimate son of Carl Gustav (Pehrsson) Roose and Christina Josephina Peterson. He was born and baptized in Västra Vingåker parish, but recorded in Hammar parish, which was still the official residence of his mother. He passed at age 2 weeks, with the cause of death recorded as Weakness. He died and was buried in Västra Vingåker parish.
