Biography

Birth : Isaac, son of Isaac Kauffman and Maria Streit, was baptised on 29 May 1718. One source gives the place as Steffisburg,[1] and another gives the place as "Aigle im Waadtland im Rhontal near Genfersee".[2]

Immigration : Isaac emigrated to Pennsylvania with his family aboard the Virtuous Grace on 24 Sept 1737.[3]

Marriage : He is reported to have married Barbara [LNU].[2]

Residence: He purchased land in Tilden Twp., Berks Co., PA on 13 Oct 1748. (Warrant 64)[4]
