According to A Genealogy & History of the Kauffman-Coffman Families of North America, written by Charles Fahs Kauffman in 1938: Pg 480 -
Michael had children John (probably Johan) and Elizabeth by his first unidentified wife who likely died in Europe. His last wife was Anna Kneissle (Nissle/Nissley), possibly the sister of Elizabeth Kneissle, second wife of Johan Andreas Kauffman. They had children: Martin; Michael, Jr.; Christian; David (not Coffman-40); and Christiana who married John Casper Smith.
