Biography

Barbara, daughter of Isaac Kaufman and Maria Streit, was baptised at Steffisburg on 1 Apr 1714.[1]

She is assumed to have accompanied the family to Pennsylvania in 1737 aboard the Virtuous Grace, although this can not be confirmed from passenger lists, which recorded only males aged over 16.
