Biography
Wilfred Oliver Kaufman passed away on Saturday, November 30, 1974, at the age of 76.
Mr. Kaufman was born November 17, 1898 at Paducah, Ky. He was married to Rose Lattus Brice and to this union were born two sons, Raymond Kaufman, Hickman, and the Rev. Vincent Kaufman, Signal Mountain, Tenn., and four daughters: Louise Williams, Louisville, Ky., Margaret Wall, Union City, Tenn.; Katie Kaufman, Memphis, and Pat Cooley, Hickman. He also had two stepchildren, Doris Martynak, Hickman, and James Brice, Decatur, Alabama, and 14 grandchildren.
Mr. Kaufman was a farmer who moved to Hickman in 1937. He was also an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society.
