Biography
James Cholmondeley Kaufman was born in Demerara Guiana about 1848. He was the son of Joseph Kaufman a Merchant and his wife Mary Elizabeth Mayers

Bromly, P.D., James 'Choimondeley' Kaufman, LLD., of the University of London, and of Inner Temple, London, Barrister at Law, and of the Bar, South Australia to Sarah Jane, eldest daughter of Joseph Snowball, J.P., Essendon.[1]
He passed away Hawthorn Victoria in 1924. [2]
