Subject: FOUND Walter & Leona!! At Forest Hills Memorial Cemetery.
Hi Laurel,
Walter and Leona are buried in a cemetery in Forest Park, GA. It's named Forest Hills Memorial Garden and is located on the corner of Jonesboro Rd. & Conley Rd. (Jonesboro Rd. is also named Highway 54, which would be why you had that information, although this section of road is usually referred to as Jonesboro Rd.) It was really easy to find their grave marker, as it is an operating cemetery and they gave me directions. They are buried in the Masonic section of the cemetery. I took some pictures - digital and film. I was considering emailing a picture, but they're 1.4 megs each, so I think I'll burn them onto a cd. Then I can send them with the film prints. I also went to the library yesterday and looked for obituaries. I found what they called death notices in several of the papers. Both Leona's and Walter's list their address as 2310 Stewart Ave., SW. Leona's never actually mentions her name. She is simply referred to as Mrs. Walter A. Kaufmann. She died January 25, 1963. Both notices list survivors as being Elaine R. Kaufmann of Atlanta and Albert W. Kaufmann of Milwaukie, Oregon. Leona's funeral was held at Hemperley's Chapel (A.C. Hemperley & Sons is the mortuary name) and Rev. Marlin A. Mentz officiated. Walter's various death notices (Atlanta had 2 major papers) state that he was 82 years old, was a retired steelworker and had four grandchildren (no names.) Masonic services were held at the grave site by "East Point Lodge No. 288, F. & A.M." The same mortuary was used for Walter (A.C. Hemperley & Sons.) The gravestone simply lists birth and death years. Walter's are 1893 to 1976, and Leona's are 1901 to 1963. Hopefully some of that is helpful. If I'm not mistaken, you may be able to get additional information from the specific Masonic lodge as well as from the funeral home. Maybe they'll know more.

Walter Kaufmann - rather than having you do it, I'd be more interested in HOW to do it. I've read the how-to's and watched the YouTube video but still don't get it, I guess.
I'd like to understand what the problem is and where the problem is, and what would be done to correct it.
Please, can you help me understand?
