Born about 1670, Sir Arthur Kaye was the eldest surviving son of Sir John Kaye, 2nd Bt., M.P. Yorkshire and his wife, Anne Lister, daughter of William Lister of Thornton in Craven, Yorkshire.  He was educated at Christ Church Oxford aged 15. 
By license dated 22 July 1690 he married Anne Marow, daughter and co-heir of Sir Samuel Marow, 1st Bt., at Berkswell in Warwickshire. at Berkswell, Warwickshire, England.Together they had an only child, a daughter.
He succeeded his father as 3rd Baronet Kaye of Woodesham on 8 August 1706 and was returned to Parliament as member for Yorkshire in 1710.
Arthur died on the 10th of July 1726, without male issue.
