Biography

Sibilla was born about 1577, estimated from marriage.

She married Robert Bankes on 22 May 1598 at Giggleswick.^[1][2] English Marriages has Isabella, but the published registers have Sibilla not Isabella, as does the scan of original at Find my Past (or Cibilla). The marriage above and the two marriages below are all Isabella, perhaps a transcription error? There is only one marriage for Robert Bankes in the register for that date.

Sibilla died before 1613 as she is not mentioned in Robert's will, and he commits the guardianship of his children to his brother Christopher and Christopher's son William.
