Research Notes

The LNAB as set here seems not to be right. As Hartog marries he is named Hartog SIjmons, using the patronymic. Searching for this family there are many different name spellings like Keesing, Kesi, Kesche and later after 1811 Kesing. Although marriage documents are findable in the Amsterdam Indexen I had no luck on birth or baptize docs. Astrid Spaargaren

The name Keesing is registered by the son of this Hartog Simons - Tobias Hartog in 1811 according to the extract at the wedding attachements of Hartog's grandson's marriage.
