Margaret Keane was born on, or before, 9 November 1859, as this was the date she baptised. She is the daughter of John Keane and Mary Dillon. The baptism is recorded in the Parish Registers of St Senan's Roman Catholic Church Kilrush, Diocese of Killaloe, County Clare. Sponsors were John Kean and Catherine Dillon[1].
