Biography
Catherine Keane Flaherty is buried in St. Marys Cemetery. Her date of death is given as Dec. 21, 1899 on her tombstone, if I am reading it correctly. The image in CanadaGenWeb is clearer than the one in Find A Grave. [1]
Death record of daughter, Johanna Flaherty, indicates Catherine as her mother with maiden name spelled Keane. [2]
Daniel and Catherine Flaherty listed with nine offspring in the 1871 census of Canada in Downie twp., Perth County, Ontario which is where the Keane family lived. [3]
