John Keats is Notable.

John Keats, the famous British poet, began studying medicine at Guy's Hospital in London in 1815. He showed great aptitude in this area, but his heart was in writing, and made that his career choice when he left the hospital in 1817. He died from tuberculosis at the age of 25.
