With all due respect to fellow genealogists, I cannot understand those on Wiki-Tree who are unable to comprehend that an ancestor of theirs could be the same as another's , especially when one has sources and DNA to back up the correctness and connection of the information and the other only has 'here say'. I have much uploaded, however I also have paper records and digital images of all sources for everything and I am slowly adding those sources. It just pains me when I reach out to another and they refute the connection whilst having no sources other than "my grandparents grandparent said so". :(
In possession of family histories handed down by Grandmother "Ellenwood - Wharton & Twenty Families 1620 - 1968" Compiled by Willard White Ellenwood. Includes Genealogy with source citations, family stories and pictures. - Confirming Documentation I have found no errors in this genealogical work to date. Also "The Hewitts of Athens County Ohio" by Susan L Mitchell, this Family History also has lineages, stories and pictures however I have found numerous errors in this so any information I include from it I add only if I have correct documentation sources for.
Hope you are well. Just wanted to say a big thank you for the work you have done here in the Wikitree community. You are so appreciated for all you do.
I have not been extremely active the last few months on my wiki-tree entries. I am glad to be finding some time now to add some more! I have much information that I need to get entered here as well as many photos and sources to add.
