Biography

Margaretta was born in Pennsylvania on 20 November 1852^[1], one of at least nine children of Gideon and Rebecca Moreland Keefer.^[2][3] By the time Margaretta was eight the family was in Indiana, where she lived the rest of her life. She married John C. Daniels on 3 May 1874.^[4] The couple had two children, May and Ethel.^[5] She died in Middletown, Indiana, on 7 August 1938^[1] and is buried in Millers Cemetery.^[6]
