Obituary courtesy of Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home William David Keeling, 53, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at his residence. Born October 5, 1959 in Harrodsburg, David was the son of Anna Ruth Matherly Keeling of Burgin, Kentucky and the late Curtis Keeling. He was the manager of the Internal Revenue Office in Lexington. David was a member of the Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington, a graduate of the University of Kentucky; he enjoyed genealogy, U.K. Basketball and traveling. Survivors in addition to his mother are one brother: Cecil Keeling of Frankfort and two nieces: Bethany and Alyssa Keeling. David was preceded in death by a sister: Rosemary Matherly. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Porter Memorial Baptist Church, 4300 Nicholasville Road, Lexington, KY with Dr. Bill Henard and Bill Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Burgin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and after 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington.^[1]
