Biography
The birth of Ellen Keen was registered in Q3 1870 in the District of Bradford upon Avon, Wiltshire, daughter of Keen/Frankling.[1]
The 1871 and 1881 Censuses indicate that she was born at Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire, the daughter of Andrew and Sarah.
Ellen Keen married William Dorey in Q4 1890 in the District of Bradford upon Avon, Wiltshire.[2] Ellen Keen age 23, spinster of Broughton Gifford, and William Dorey age 23, bachelor, Constable of Highworth, were married by Banns on 11 Nov 1890 at Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire. Their fathers were Andrew Keen, Farmer, and Amos Dorey, Labourer.[3]
