Hi Deborah, just wanted to give you a heads up about the work I did on your profile for Cornelius Baird (1861-abt.1930) - I have a LOT of info on his family so added it all in! Please feel free to look through it and format as necessary.

Kind regards,

Vicky Majewski

Hi Deborah,

Thank you for your commitment to the England Project and its goals in 2023! Together we are making English WikiTree profiles the best they can be!

I'd like to share our end-of-year 2023 Newsletter. You can read it here: England Project Newsletters. We hope you enjoy reading about what we have achieved in 2023!

On behalf of all the England Project Leaders, we wish you a peaceful, productive and enjoyable 2024!

Best wishes,

Joan, England Project Leader

Dear Deborah,

Thank you for joining our project. We are pleased that you decided to join us and hope that you find the Orphan Trail rewarding.

The England Project Leaders like to touch base with each of our members periodically to make sure everything is going well. This is our formal annual check-in and we are interested in your perspective as a Trailer, whether you are still waiting to be buddied up with a Trailblazer, on the road to completing the Orphan Trail, or taking a short break.

We would be interested to hear whether you're finding the explanations and guidance in the Orphan Trail pages useful. No more than a couple of sentences would be enough. We are always looking to improve and feedback plays an important part.

I look forward to hearing from you. Please respond by posting a reply below or sending me a private message.

On behalf of all the Leaders, thank you again. We look forward to your completion of the Orphan Trail and your continued involvement in our collaborative and fun Project!

Kind regards,

Elizabeth, England Project Leader

Dear Deborah,

We hope you are enjoying your time in the Orphan Trail Team; even if you are currently taking a Pause or waiting to be buddied up with a Trailblazer. We are pleased that you decided to join us and on behalf of the England Project, I would like to thank you for all your contributions towards the project's goals. Every single contribution you make helps improve English profiles!

We are looking forward to you joining one of our other collaborative and energetic teams once you complete the Trail.

I'd also like to share our annual Newsletter with you. You can read it here: England Project Newsletters. We hope you enjoy reading a bit about what has gone on in 2022 and what our Project has achieved.

The England Project Leaders like to touch base with each of our members every 6 months just to make sure everything is going well. There's no need to reply to this message unless you have something you'd like to let us know about (e.g. if you would like to provide us with feedback about the Trail or the project). We will be in touch with you again in the middle of next year when we do our annual check-in with project members.

On behalf of all the Leaders, I wish you a peaceful and productive 2023.

Best wishes,

Susie, England Project Leader

Found no evidence of spouse or children for Young-5078 & couldn't find a Will. I was curious why the younger children were not in the household in 1891. Should I research them as well for clues? Is there some place I can look up transfers of title for property to see what happened to the 400 acres his father owned? Should I try to find out why he travelled alone to Canada or are these details not important?

Thanks for your assistance, Deborah

Hi Deborah,

I’m off to bed soon so will have a look and reply tomorrow. You might just have a ‘dud’ and there’s not a lot of info to be found. Anyway I’ll have a good luck tomorrow and give you a full reply. Whereabouts in the world are you? I’m in the uk. Are you on discord?

Regards, Ann

Hello Deborah,

I hope you are well.

I'm sorry that you are no longer participating in the England Project's Orphan Trail, which we ask all new project members to complete. Sometimes people find that their interests change or the Orphan Trail isn't what they thought it would be.

You are most welcome to re-apply to join the England Project when you have the time to commit to completing the Orphan Trail.

I do hope you choose to rejoin us in the future. In the meantime, please feel free to use the Orphan Trail resource pages as a guide when creating or editing English profiles. You can find links to them here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:England_Orphaned_Profiles_Team

Thank you for helping to improve our global tree!

Hi Deborah,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.

It looks like Canadian_History would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag Canadian_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

You've been a member for about a week so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!

I want to help! Click my name, send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
