Biography
Elizabeth Keene of Swansea, Massachusetts was born in the year 1747 based upon her death record as Mrs. Elizabeth (Elisha) Peirce. [1]
Elizabeth "Keene" (aka Kean) (Robert, Ephraim, Josiah, John) is descended from Puritan Great Migration ancestor Josiah Keen who arrived on the ship Confidence, sailing out of Southampton, England, 24 April 1638. [2][3]
"Elizabeth 'Kean' of Swanzey and Elisha 'Peirce', Jr. of Dighton entered their Intention of Marriage on 27 February 1768 [at Dighton, Bristol county, Massachusetts]." [4]
