Hannah Keene

Hannah was born February 4, 1676/7.[citation needed] She was a daughter of William Keene of Northumberland County, Gent., and his wife, Elizabeth (here profiled as Elizabeth Rogers).[1]

One private webpage (without sources) reports she was born at Kent County, Maryland.[2][citation needed]

Beside the tombstones of John and Hannah are the tombstones of some of their children: son Thomas and two infant children. There is also the tombstone of a grandchild, infant child of Apphia and her husband, William Fantleroy, Gent.[1]

Death and Legacy

Hannah died about 1739 at Westmoreland County, Virginia. Her grave stone and one for John can still be seen at the family plot, near the house, at Bushfield Plantation.[3]

Hannah left a will written on 26 Dec 1738 at Westmoreland Co., Virginia and proved on 29 May 1739.[2] Westmoreland County, Virginia , Page 44[4]
