Birth

Ira Marvin Keeney, called Marvin, was born on 7 July 1885 in Goshen, Lane, Oregon, United States to John Blanden Keeney (1859-1942) and Ella Leora Hurt (1865-1929).

On 12 July 1918, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps to serve in World War I. He was a Private in the 15th Regiment according to the U.S. Headstone Application for Military Veterans. Serial # 130278. He was honorably discharged on 29 January 1919.

Death and Burial
