See photo. Their father passed away in 1849. All of Jacob's known siblings are all still living with their mother. Jacob is the only one married. He, his wife and 4 children are in the same house. Note: the 'official' transcription left out Jacob's family--I have added them to the list. John Knocke/Knoche on line 40 is a member of another widespread family that settled this area.

I have yet to determine why John moved his young family to this beautiful part of Arkansas. It appears, based on Ora's age & birthplace, that they had moved here in the late 1870's.
