Adolf was born in 1914 and passed away in 1985. [1][2] His parents were Anton Keetelaar and Maria Anna van Dijk.
Dolf grew up in Ankeveen. He was to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a horticulturist (tuinder). Although he had the skills to become a very fine horticulturist his heart lied elsewhere. He was a restless soul, artistic and outspoken and by the age of 14 he and his father clashed to an extent that Dolf left home.
Dolf firstly married the roman catholic Johanna van der Pol. With her he lived in Ankeveen for a while and later moved to Hilversum. They had two stillborn children and a daughter, Ria. Being who he was Dolf could not settle down as he was expected to. In Utrecht working in the canteen of military club "De Cadi Club" he met Jacoba. The two got into a relationship and started a life together.
When their son Vincent was born, Dolf was actually still married to Johanna. This made Vincent an illigitimate child, which must not have been easy in the small religious community of Breukelen. Dolf however, was a pleasent person, generous and smart, as was Jacoba. This made that despite living is sin, they were well liked.
It wasn't until january of 1975 that Dolf finally devorced Johanna. Only a month later he married Jacoba.
Dolf was cremated. The ceremony was held on December 31st of 1985 at Crematorium Olandhorst in Lelystad. [3] His ashed were spread at the crematorium site on Januari 21st of 1986. No family was present.[4]
