Martin Kifer's Bible

The following typewritten transcription was sent to me (Neal Parker) by Vicki Campbell in March 2023. Vicki is a great-granddaughter of Tennie Kifer, of whom she says, "The Bible record I have is just a transcription of the Bible. I did not see it or transcribe it. I wish I could have seen it because the person that transcribed it - listed Tennessee's (Tennie) as Teressa. It is just an error in reading it. As that is Tennie's birthdate. And it also looks like Tennie is listed as a daughter, but really was the granddaughter. I don't know if that was done on purpose (maybe considering the time/era) But was always known in the family that Tennessee was Mary's daughter. So many tree's have this wrong - she was the granddaughter of Martin and Rachel but apparently raised as their daughter (at least on census records anyway) This transcription came from a family of Jake and Lena (Tucker) Kifer. I do not know who has the Bible. Lena was a sister to Pleasant B Tucker - Tennie's husband. And Jake was Tennie's Uncle. So I have a double connection there."
