Susanna Keim was the daughter of Johannes Keim and his second wife Maria Elizabeth. She was born in 1739 in the area of present-day Oley, Berks, Pennsylvania. (At the time of her birth, Oley was part of Philadelphia County.) She married Frederick Huff in 1757.
