Catherine is most likely the daughter of Conrad Keyser as evidenced by the Letter of Administration regarding the estate of Conrad which was filed in Somerset County on behalf of Jacob Keyser, John Keyser and Jacob Cover (husband of Catherine) In the year 1829. Conrad Keyser is listed in the 1800 Somerset Twp, Somerset County Census and tax list. He is listed in Jenner Twp, Somerset County in 1810 and 1820 census and he is listed as one of the founder of the Hoffman Lutheran Church, Founded in Jenner Twp in 1814.
