Benajah was born December 20, 1820, a son of Asa Keith and Elizabeth Ladd.
He was married to Mary Ann High on January 3, 1857 in Whitfield County, Georgia.
Benajah passed away March 25, 1902 and was laid to rest in the West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia.
