CONTOn his WWI draft reg card, Maynard lists Kenneth Piper (or Riper), "Yacht Ramble," as his emploer as a marine engineer. This coincides with his occupation as listed in the 1920 census as a marine engineer for a private yacht.
CONTIn 1932, Maynard is listed as the Chief Engineer aboard the Yacht Camargo, arriving in New London, CT, from Marseilles, France. According to the manifest, he was 5 ft 11 inches tall and weighed 180 pounds.
