William Ellsworth Keller was born on May 24, 1879 in Harrison County, Indiana, United States, son of Jacob Keller (1822–1910) and Mary Augusta Steiden (1842–1912).

In 1910, William E Kellar (29), was a single son, in the household of Jacob Kellar (87) in Louisville Ward 12, Jefferson, Kentucky, United States. [3]

William died on July 13, 1924 in Louisville, Jefferson, aged 45. He was buried in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, USA (plot: Section 8, Lot 65, grave 3).[4] [5]
