Maude Pearl (Keller) Mitchell was born on 17 Dec 1902 in Waveland, Brown Township, Montgomery, Indiana, United States, daughter of Sylvester Keller (1864 - 1952) and Lillie Theadocia (Dowden) Keller (1870 - 1946).

That's $153 in today's dollars. The census worker recorded Walter had completed the 8th grade. Warren (19) was working odd jobs, and at the time of this census was looking for a job. Clyde (16) was employed at a country club golf course. He had completed his junior year in high school. Kenneth (14), Earl (12), Jerry (9), and Jane (8) were attending school. ^[5]
