Benjamin was born in 1795 to Benjamin Kelley and Nancy Jerrell. He passed away in 1878.

- I am not sure where the Kentucky birth place originated for Benjamin H either, but you are correct that he was born in Virginia. I found him and family in the 1850 census for Spencer County, Indiana in Ohio Township and his birthplace is listed as Virginia. Rebecca is listed as born in South Carolina, Allen as born in North Carolina but that is smudged and he is listed in other censuses as born in Kentucky as are the rest of the children. Thomas Allen Kelley was my gg grandfather.[1]
