Biography
Arria Novella was born in September 1873 in , Alabama, USA. She was the daughter of William Monroe Jacob Kelley and Lucinda (Bedsole) Kelly.[1]
When Arria Novella was about 20 she married James Fortner in 1894. The couple had 9 children: Lonnie Fortner, Loney Fortner, James N Fortner, Clarance Fortner, William Fortner, Howis Fortner, Carl Fortner, Hantenie Fortner and Leniard Fortner.[2]
In the 1900 census Arria Novella (age 26) was living in Precinct 9 Oldtown, Conecuh, Alabama.[3]
In the 1910 census Arria Novella (age 36) was living in Old Town, Conecuh, Alabama.[4]
In the 1930 census Arria Novella (age 56) was living in Evergreen, Conecuh, Alabama.[5]
