Cpl Walt Kelley served in the United States Army in World War I

Walter Philip Kelley was born on September 14, 1898, in Corning, New York, to Martin Kelley and Margaret Brann.[1] He graduated from Northside High School, Corning, NY, 27 Jun 1916.[2]

Walter married Delores Collins, May 15, 1923[3], and they had one son together (John aka Jack) before divorcing c. 1930. On 17 Apr 1934, he married Katherine Rose Peters in Bradford, Pennsylvania, [4] and they had two children together: Grace and Robert.

Served in the US Army during WWI from Jan-Nov 1918 and attained the rank of corporal. Did not serve overseas.[5]

He died on May 27, 1982, in St Petersburg, Florida, at the age of 83, and was interred at Arlington, National Cemetery on 6/18/1982 (location 1,P,6,3). [6]
