The South Bend Tribune, Wednesday, June 1, 1955: HARRIS KELLOGG, SR. Harris (Harry) Kellogg, Sr., 124 S. Hill St., died at 7 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital after a several years' illness. Born in South Bend, Oct. 10, 1982, he was a lifelong resident of the city. In 1923, in Mishawaka, he married Minnie Bruegel. He was a former employe of Singer Corp. Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. M.E. Meyers, of South Bend, and Mrs. E.C. Curtsinger, of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sons, Harris Jr. and Robert, both of South Bend; five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Jones of Lakeville, and Mrs. Norah Hagel of Joliet, Ill. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Hollis Funeral Home until services there at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Dr. Roscoe F. Wilson, pastor of the People's Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
