Anne Jane, of Edenagoash, married William James Gillanders, of Roosky, on 26 March 1895 at Killeevan in the parish church of the Church of Ireland[1]. She died at Drumkeen, Co. Monaghan on 17 July 1949, with her granddaughter, Hilda Pattison present at her death[2]
Research Notes
Anne Jane's death is given as 18 July 1949 at Warrenpoint with no source. The death record found almost matches the date (off by a day and a year), the name matches and the age matches. The place, Drumkeen, was not found on current maps, although an Aghadrumkeen was found. Further research to confirm or disprove Hilda Pattison was the granddaughter of Anne Jane is needed.
