Albert Kelly was born in 1845 in Harbour Island, Bahamas to James Miller Kelly and Margaret Cleare Kelly.
He married Sarah Elizabeth Petty, probably the daughter of William H Petty and Sarah E Roberts Petty, about 1870. The couple had children - including Ellen, Sarah, James Miller, Laura Annia, Ellen, Maud, and Albert Leopold Kelly.
Albert Kelly, mariner and blockade runner, died in Harbour Island, Bahamas 27 October 1919 at 75 years of age.
